53, Property of Shell Mex & BP limited. This petrol globe was on a pump outside Barley garage in Burnley many years ago. I would class this petrol globe as being in Excellent condition with just the odd small nibbles around the neck as shown in the photographs. The word Shell is just still visible on both sides and could be painted back in, I bought a new rubber seal for this globe because I was going to keep it in my own collection. I have tried to find a Shell petrol globe similar but there are numerous variations of the Shell globe depending on age and size but iv not seen one as big and as impressive as this one.
