Vintage Pepsi Cola Cooler. Rare Survivor. Stunning Original Condition

Manufactured in late'40's /early'50s by Progress Refrigerator Company, Louisville Kentucky. In the twenty or so years it had been in the possession of the original owner it had been stored away and never used, Fifty years later it has still never been used, as can be seen from its extraordinary original condition. Most of these spent years being thrown in and out of the back of the family station wagon. And generally used and abused. Inevitably, they would be left swimming in water from melted ice resulting in extensive rust. As can be seen from the pictures, it is super clean, both inside and out. The paint itself is 100% original, and holds an amazing.

Lustre and deep shine with a number of small. Blips here and there, and a slight ding to a lower corner that doesn't break the paint. Interior, sandwich tray, and drain plug & chain in outstanding condition. I have seen a number of these over the years, I have never seen one in anywhere near this kind of condition. Not the cheapest, but almost certainly, the best available.
