Andy Warhol Rare Original The Chelsea Girls c. This original, vintage poster produced in the mid 1960s comes directly from the estate of Andy Warhol. Warhol's groundbreaking and controversial film Chelsea Girls documents the Factory scene and downtown New York City in the 60s. Andy Warhol said, Chelsea Girls was the movie that made everyone sit up and notice what we were doing in films (and a lot of times that meant sit up, stand up, and walk out). Starting in 1963, film became a fixture of Warhol's prolific practice resulting in his production of hundreds of movies and establishing his as one of the most influential, avant-garde filmmakers of his generation.
