Andy Warhol Rare Vintage 1982 Original. This original, vintage poster produced in 1982 as part of an advertising campaign for Halston Cosmetics comes directly from the estate of Andy Warhol. An innovative fashion designer and notorious socialite, Halston was a close friend of Warhols. Halstons eponymous brand grew rapidly, expanding from hats to womens fashion to cosmetics and beyond.

In 1982, Warhol created a series of four screenprints depicting various facets of the brand. This poster promotes Halston cosmetics, with perfumes and makeup strewn across the layout.

Utilizing elements of collage, Warhol activates the assemblage while catching the viewers eye with his vibrant pop colors. Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts.
