Offered here is an Antique / Vintage Large Stoneware Flagon or Crock. This is Advertising the NORTHAMPTON BREWERY Co Ltd. It is a RARE piece and holds 4 Gallons. It stands 21 inches tall and measures 12 inches across its diameter.

The writing states they were Wine & Spirit Merchants, and there are the words Trade Mark and a star. It is also embossed 4 GAL and has the number 1717, we don't know what that represents. There is an impressed mark on the neck, this reads, " 8 Key Tamworth ".

The body and base of the piece does have some cracks but it is intact. It is a Rare example and a fabulous piece for anyone interested in Breweriana or Beer / Brewery Advertising, especially for people with a connection to Northamptonshire. It is Perfect for a home Bar, Northampton Pub or Mancave.
