RARE! Large Vintage 1930's Shop Display THE HINDU INCENSE Chalk Ware Buddha Lamp

Large Buddha Shop Display Lamp. We have for sale a very rare to find chalk ware Buddha lamp which was manufactured by THE HINDU INCENSE COMPANY in the 1930's in Chicago, USA to advertise the incense cone burners and other products in store. There are plenty of the small incense holders available online, but this large example is the only one of its kind found to have survived so far.

It would have originally had a small light bulb inside to illuminate the red glass crystal on his chest. There is also a hole at the nape of his neck for a lamp rod to hold a shade over his head. A qualified electrician could reinstate these features.

This is an unusually rare collectors item and highly decorative. In lovely original condition, with minimal chips and wear to the chalkware and paint. Check out my other items.
