A very rare, superb vintage Saloon or bar games room sign. This is an original, wooden hand painted bar sign, carved and hand painted, it is a large and heavy piece.

Painted on a green ground it features playing cards and fancy text. Ace in the Hole, Saloon and Gambling room.

Designed for the entrance to a gambling / games room in a pub or bar, this would make a superb piece of decor for the games room or bar. Increasingly difficult to find, most of these have been lost and destroyed when pubs are knocked down and demolished, this is a rare survivor. Unmarked, made from hand painted wood, c1970s. Good used condition overall, some surface marks and wear commensurate with age, some areas of wear to the paint, some minor water type marks to the reverse.
