Vintage (1972) DROOPER Banana Splits. Wrist Watch - very rare. This is an extremely rare character wrist watch from 1972.
It features an image of Drooper from the TV show The Banana Splits. Watch has a blue leather band (which may not be original), and stainless steel back.This watch is in pretty good shape considering its age. The case shows a little bit of wear due to age. The crystal is clear, however it does have a small crack just below the seven on the dial (see photos). The colors on the dial are still bright with very little fading. The watch appears to be working.
When I wound up the watch to test it, it started ticking, however I do not know if it will keep good time or not. This is a rare and highly collectible watch. I tried researching this watch and could not find a single example of it online. I asked around and it appears to be one of the rarest character watches among collectors.
