Vintage unrestored BP Petrol Station remarkably original light-up garage Top Mounted (swing) sign with shield in 3D relief. Rare and hard to come by. Original Perspex with metal outer frame. Manufactured by Claudgen Ltd Neon Signs (name derived from the inventor of neon Claude and the General Electric Company) circa 1960s. Recently used as feature garden patio lighting.

Condition is good, original Used, unrestored - expect some weathering/fading damage commensurate with age and exposure to the elements over decades of roadside advertising. Small impact craze on lower rear-side, however integrity not compromised in the least and does not detract from item at all - see photo. Ideal for a garage petroliana collection.

Size is XL = 99cmsx99cmsx32cms approx. Fitted with UK three-pin plug 13amp 240 volt.
