These were used in the late 60's and very early 70's, hanging in groups of 4 or 5 from a large wooden light fixture hanging from the ceiling. As a little boy I can remember riding in the car with my parents and being able to see the lit bucket globes hanging in the restaurant even from the road!
I was always fascinated by the signs that had the large, lit, turning bucket out front. I miss those days of such great art everywhere! The picture I was able to find (shown in our photos) is a terrific example of what these looked like as light fixture in the restaurants. This one (shown) is one of the best condition of any I've seen to date! Be sure and notice how rich and vibrant the colors are, as well as how smooth the edge / lip is (where it would attach to the light fixture)! We gladly share in the costs to get it safely to you! Our last one went overseas and arrived safely and securely! Please keep that in mind when thinking about the price.
